Today i'll share one of best seafood recipe in Indonesia named Fried Stir - fry Chilli Crabs recipe or more popular as resep kepiting saus pedas in Indonesia language. This food is very delicious and spicy. I can guarantee that the taste of this recipe is so wonderful and delicious , one of the best Indonesian seafood recipe , you should try it . Ingredients :
- 1 kg crabs
- 1 stalk lemon grass
- some cooking oil
- 200ml water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 11/2 tespoons salt
Paste Ingredients :
-5 dried chillies
-10g fresh turmeric
-10g ginger
-10g galangal
-3 cloves garlic
-150g shallots
-10 red chillies
How to Cook:
1. Remove crab shell, clear the impurities within, rinse and chop into pieces. Flatten lemon grass. Soak dried chillies in hot water for 15 minutes, squeeze dry and grind with the rest of the paste ingredients.
2. Heat up cooking oil and saute ground paste till fragrant. Add lemon grass and stir briefly.
3. Toss in crabs and fry for 2-3 minutes. Pour in water and cook till it is fairly dry. Add sugar and salt to taste and continue to cook till dry.
Notes : Use dried chillies instead of just fresh red chillies to cook till chilli oil surfaces on the gravy for an attractive sheen.
