Ayam Asam Pedas (Sour and Hot Tasted Chiken)
Bahan-bahan (Ingredients) :
-1 kg ayam [buang kulit danpotong kecil] ( 1 kg of chiken)
-7 batang daun kesum ( 7 pieces kesum leaves)
-2 biji tomato [belah 4] ( 2 tomatoes, cut it to 4 parts)
-3 mangkuk air (3 bowl of water)
-1 cawan air asam jawa ( 1 bowl of javanese sour water)
-3 s/b minyak masak (cooking oil)
-2 pokok daun ketumbar [potong pendek] ( 2 leaf of coriander leaves)
-garam (salt)
Bahan-bahan dikisar (Ingredients B):
-10 biji cili kering (1o pieces dry red chilli)
-10 ulas bawang kecil (10 pieces small onion)
-3 ulas bawang putih (3 pieces of garlic)
-3 cm halia ( 3 cm ginger)
-3 batang serai (3 sticks of lemon grass)
-3 cm lengkuas (3 cm galangale)
-3 biji buah keras (3 pieces of hard fruit)
-2 cm belacan [jika suka
Cara Memasak (How To Cook):
1. Panaskan minyak masak dan tumis bahan kisar hingga garing.
(Saute / cook all the ingredients b until crispy)
2. Masukkan ayam dan biarkan sehingga naik minyak semula.
(Add the chiken into it, and cook it)
3. Masukkan air asam jawa. Biarkan seketika kemudian masukkan air sejuk.
(Add the javanese sour water into it, and add cold water into it, mix it)
4. Sesuaikan rasa dan didihkan hingga ayam empuk.
(Cook the chiken until soft / tender)
5. Kemudian masukkan daun kesum dan tomato. Biarkan reneh sehingga pekat dan naik minyak.
(Put in the kesum leaves and tomato)
6. Angkat dan hidangkan.
(Lift it up and serve it)
7. Taburkan daun ketumbar.
(Serve it with coriander leaves on tje top of it)
